Mend Panasonic TX-26LXD50 First 10 Minutes

Picture on Panasonic TX-26LXD50 for first 10 minutes or so?

Every time my 5yr old Panasonic TX-26LXD50 26" is first switched on the picture is a bit dark but after 10 minutes or so is fine. Is this a sign that something is on its way out?
