Mend JCB 3cx Making Noise Leaking

JCB 3cx 1990 making bad rear axle noise and oil leaking????

I have a JCB 3cx H reg (1990) and the back axle is making a bad noise and oil leaking from it. Happened when travelling on road....any ideas? Is it expensive to fix?

i had the same year but it not expensive you have to change the bearing n the oil seal.am in mauritius i dont know how it will cost there

If the oil is coming from the rear axle then maybe its a bearing gone and you have damage the oil seal.....! if so yes its a big job you need to take off the axle and if you hav'nt done it before get someone who has.
