washing machine lost power mid cycle - now wont turn on?

Our Fisher & Paykel MW059AU seems to have lost power mid cycle and now wont turn on at all. Does this machine have a fuse - or is the fault likely to be terminal. The machine is approx 10 yrs old and has been recently stopping & beeping during the cycle - but not losing power - requiring us to power off and on to get going again. That is, the controls have been freezing during these episodes. This is the first time the machine has simply lost power.

My LG washing machine lost power in mid cycle. The door opened easily and water gushed out. I removed the clothes and mopped up the floor. There is still some water left inside the machine. I have changed the fuse but the machine is still without power. The machine is ten years old. Any other suggestions.
