Mend Sharp 583cx Open Opens Working

583cx Drawer wont open?

My 583cx opens manually but not automatically, the solenoid that opens the drawer (or associated wiring) is not working. How do I get that fixed? or just scrap it and get a new one? Let me know.

There are many reasons for a drawer not opening. It may be a faulty solenoid. They can sometimes blow the driver transistor in the drawer power circuit. It is probably a fault that will need to be looked at on a circuit level.
