There's really no way to put in game mode from the buttons on the bottom, unless of course your tv goes automatically into it when you go thru all the channels. But if you buy an GE 24991 universal remote it works PERFECTLY for my TV. The remote code that worked for me was 1381. But if that doesn't work for you DO NOT search more online, just call GE. They'll help you out.

Press the menu button and then press the up button on volume. This will turn on the game mode. (down volume button will turn off the game mode)We then bought a universal remote and programed it. Make sure the universal has an input button. Press tv on the universal and then press input. It will change to game mode automatically. Press input again and it will go back to regular tv.

I tried doing this, I had the same problem. I didn't work. I tried different remote controls - I finally gave up and order a new remote from the manufacturer. try Mr Remote website.

To switch between the game/tv on Symphonic WF2703,
Press MENU, then the volume UP button to switch back and forth. I had this problem before and bought a new universal remote then discovered it by accident -Kiddnitro- :-)

You could try pressing the channels down button on the set itself until you go below channel 1. Im not 100% sure if this will work for you but on some sets channel 0,-1,-2 are used as the input channels.
