How can I get the DVD to play in my Technika Pro Logic?

I have a Technika pro logic flat screen, HD ready, TV with inbuilt DVD and DVB.

Unfortunately the DVD player has stopped working overnight! now it makes a squeeky noise and denies that there's a disk in (even though it ejects and loads OK).

I've tried different disks but with no success

Please help
