sCREW A VERY SMALL SELF TAPPING SCREW INTO THE HOLE WITH A BLOB OF LOCKTIGHT ON IT. THAT SHOULD HOLD IT. CAN USE THE SAME ON CAR RADIATOR IN AN EMERGENCY.

yes you can mend it but you have to isolate it and drain it down remove from wall find pin holl clean off all pain work any rust and repair hole with brazing rod available from B&Q but will need decent blow torch for brazing rod also at B&Q Benzo matic all purpose brazing rods hope that helpfull

Never found any way of permenant good repair, sorry it got a be replaced!!
