my lcd tv goes green blue red?!?! help plz?

a friend of mine just gave me his 42" Acoustic Solution TV. it was fine and working when he had it but now that i brought it home the screen goes Blue, Red and green, non of the buttons on the tv work, and the other bad news is that it does not have remote control. what should i do? i want to go buy a remote control but i dont know which ones to buy.
can some one plz help me out?
