Mend Crosley CED4300P2 Open Panel Lights

how can i fix my crosley dryer?

when the dryer door is closed it does nothing when i open the door the digital panel lights up showing do which i know means door open when i shut the door it shuts off. i also tried holding down the button without shutting the door and it still does nothing
