Mend Ariston AWD12S Washing Machine PCB Spin Cycle

Ariston Margherita AWD12S - Stopped Working - Power Light Off?

The washing machine was running through the final spin cycle (White Wash) when it just stopped and the power light went off.
I have checked the fuse,volt metered the power in but no power is coming into the on/off switch from the PCB. Before I go the route of checking the PCB....... Has anybody come across this problem before?
