How can I fix my cash register samsung 5140?

When you power on the register, you should hear the printer run briefly and the print head should move back and forth (you'll need to remove the ribbon cartridge to see this...) . If it doesn't and you're absolutely sure there is no paper or other foreign object preventing the print head motion, it is most likely a mechanical problem with the printer or perhaps a bad motor. Both problems are best addressed by a dealer.
