hi i think i am useing to much diesal i put £20 in and got just over 100 miles out of it, how many miles should i get . whats wrong with it? 1.8 ford escort turbo diesal van (s rege)
should be doing at least 50mpg. check for fuel leaks, especially the leak off pipes (the small rubber pipes that run in between the injectors) also check the pump area,& check the pipes back to the tank & the tank its self. also check the air filter.

That works out around 30~35mpg so it depends on how your driving it, ie foot to the floor at all times? and how much your carring in the back!!
