astra 1.6 sxi 2004 petrol . light came on changed the coil pack,mass air flow,egr valve,plugs nothing changed plugged in computer keeps saying miss fire pot 1 but wont tell me the fault. light back on now car miss firing
missfiring may not mean no spark! - possible injector sticking? - swap injectors to see if fault moves? - cause maybe the ECU itself - these are not uncomon - who on earth thought bolting an expensive and sensitive ECU to a hot vibrating metal block was a good idea? Ohh yes it was bosch! if you have had the car serviced at vauxhall dealers on a reg basis - check with them first as i know someone who had an ECU changed FOC on an 7 year old astra!
