sony cybershot dsc-f505v color balance problem?

Hi...I have a SONY DSC-F505V which was working perfectly well last summer (last used Aug 2009) but it seems to have developed a color balance problem while left unused for the last 10 months. The Camera still seems to function OK, even the video mode works well with no color balace issues.Looking at the display prior to taking a "still" photo the color balance looks perfect but once the photograph has been taken and I look at the saved image the picture has virtually no color just seems to be a "washed out" bluey grey image.
