Mend Britannic Rennaissence Shower Turned Water

Bath mixer taps with shower, Britis Rennaissence?

When taps are turned on, The water comes out the tap spout and the shower.Irrespective wheather the
pointer is to the taps or the shower. What is the cause of this.??

Britannic Britannic Rennaissence D.I.Y, Plumbing Shower Turned Water

I have just had the same problem and have worked out that it is the diverter kit in the switch/lever which changes from taps to shower and vice versa. I have managed to get a replacement "kit" but can't see any way to actually fit it! I imagine the manufacturer should be able to help with this.
