How do i fix a jammed rear door on my renault megane 1999 model?

Not easy i'm afraid, i've just done the wifes!
You have to take the interior door trim off first, remove the plastic cover from the locking mech, tricky if its a back door!
Get your self a good light so you can see what you are doing and be prepared to fiddle for 5 hours! i took the opposite lock off so i could understand how it worked and what part operated what and it was more a stroke of luck that when i hit it with a screw driver and hammer it opened! remember if your child lock is on you will have to trying the door with the outside handle.
Also a new lock is around £90..........get one from a breakers for around £20-£25
