how to fix singer foot pedal?

No problem, the suppressor has blown inside the foot control, undo the foot control and you will see a little square thing connected to the terminals, take that out and discard it because you don't need them any more, if you have what is known as a clam type foot control with a rubber covering on the botton, peel back the rubber and you will see a screw in the middle, it will be tight, undo that and the control will open, you may crack a piece of plastic off with the screw which is quite common, just stick it back with some superglue.
