Mahogany coloured Dining table?

I have a inexpensive but great mahogany dining table, at one side through wear and me cleaning it as started to loose its colour and is going very pale, please help what can i do for it as i do not want to get rid of it.

Assuming the top face is wood rather than plastic....

Given that it's inexpensive - if it were mine I might be inclined to remove any protective varnish from the top - give it a light sanding and either dress it with teak oil (couple of coats) or varnish it (3 gloss rubbing down and a final coat of matt).

The varnish process may take several days - oil is much quicker.
