how do you fix a hot tap at half flow?

don't quite understand question i am assuming that the valve of the tap doesn't open fully, and water is only trickling out, if this is the case you can purchase tap revivors these are replacement valves which are easily fitted. or it could be that the washer has jammed on the seating of the tap, if you remove the tap valve and look inside the body of the tap you might see the parts of the damaged washer if this is the case all you need is a new washer
