faulty immobiliser signal ( corsa 1.4 16v ) simtec56.5?

ive got a corsa 1.4 16v which wont start , checked flash codes and got code (85) immobiliser wrong signal , anyone got any ideas how to fix this

Hello ive comeacross this problem quite a lot,its always been the crank shaft speed sensor thats been faulty in my experience,this some how confuses,s the E.C.U which then sets the code wrong immobiliser signal.
