Mend Kenwood KNA-G520 G 23 Min

Kenwood Kna G 520 only stays on for 2-3 min?

My kenwood kna g 520 nav only stays on for 2-3 min then shuts off. You have to disconnect then re connect for it to work then it only operates for 2-3 min and then shuts down again. Any ideas?
