my tv wont stay on?

i have an atec 37"lcd tv when you turn the tv on with the main switch the red standby light comes on followed by the green on light with aperfect picture but after about 3 seconds the tv goes off with a perminent orange light and this happens every time youtry to start the tv the orange light does not even get a mention in the manual
