Hotpoint Hotpoint TVM 560 Household Appliances, Tumble Dryers Aquarius Problem Dryer

My hotpoint tvm560 Acquarius has started making a discontinuous whining sound which can be quite loud at times. The sound is similar to running a wet finger over a crystal glass rim only at a different pitch.

What causes this and how can it be fixed.

door switch is broken. is it easy to replae

heating element gone

buy need thermostat and heating element

open back, fix

follow ins on you tube etc.

get details for the part and fix.

take pic of all wires before disconnecting.
