Mira advance 8.7S leaking from inlet "o" seal housing?

Mira shower Advance 8.7S about 1995 era has been great till now. It leaks from the housing of the inlet where the filter is housed. Is it worth replacing the "o" seal, I don't want to replace the whole shower as it will mean retiling the area with unobtainable tiles.
