Scantronic 9800 Bell Duration?

The battery does not go flat as it is floating on the 230v mains. Yes the bell duration is how long it rings following an alarm condition. Its ok for it to ring until manual reset if you are in the house but not suitable if you are away from home.

I forgot, if there is not a 'timer' in the Bell box it will ring until the battery goes flat.

Bell duration, the time the bell rings following an alarm condition, NOT how long it will ring for if all the power is removed.
