hi adam bike doctor thanx very much for your help it wasnt wot i tought it was in the end found the proble it was the wires under the floor had crowdid fix the bike runs perfect thanx again

hi again ive checked the cdi and i have power ive checked the purple wire from the coil and theres no power but now ive got no ignition lights at all i found a yellow wire from where the main power is near the starter a plug of some kind striped it down and found it had split with green shit in it so i replaced it but still no change please help im running out of options many thanx

ive checked the coil and there is some power but not alot not enough to start the bike ?????

if the coil has two male spade terminals then you should have one live feed and a flashing earth/live when the engine is turning over,if it hasnt then there is a problem down the line check the same wires for this reading back at the cdi and then check the pick up/pulser coil is putting some current out in a on /off fashion.i use an led and connect it to the pick up coil and then sping the engine over and it should light up if you have it wired around the right way.if it has only on ewire from the pick up coil put one pole from the led to the live one from it and then the earth pole from the led to earth where the coil is screwed on.you cant wire it from the wrong wire from the cdi the timing will be out.

hi ive checked the cdi and i have power there is an orange wire which is live,,there is also a purple wire which goes to the coil the purple wire has no power going to it is there any way i can take a feed of the orange live wire or bypass it in any way many thanx

i have power to the ignition but theres no power going to the coil ive put a multimeter on the purple wire but ive got nothing please help

do you have power out of the ignition pickup?> or do you just mean you have no spark at the cdi?
