Front passenger door won't shut Renault Laguna 2004?

Repaired the keycards, and now the front passenger door just wont close. The lock will not engage. Lastweek the central locking wouldn't open the front passenger door, now it won't close at all. Tried to look to remove the door internal cover, but specialist screwheads mean new tools required.
Any ideas??
