my samsung le40r74bd no hdmi pick up?

My Samsung, which has the nclicking problem also has lost the ability to pick up SKY from the HDMI input. The HDMI will pick up from a DVD but not from SKY. SKY works fine into other TV's not the Samsung.

Can anybody give me some advice?
