Mend Remote Key Car Unlock

when i unlock the drivers door manually none of the other doors open. WHY ?

when the car is unlocked from the drivers side the others doors do not unlock, and once in the car the boot doesnt open with the release button. If i buy a remote key will these problems be solved or will i be wasting my money?
