My tumble dryer fails to heat up on the low heat setting but dies on the high heat setting but with a slight smell of hot dust. Is the heating element bust and I need to replace it or can I still use it on high heat setting (it appears to be about the same temp as the low setting was)? Or could it be something else? Many thanks
A quick update after some investigation - there is some heat on the low setting just not as much as there used to be so I am guessing one of the heating elements has gone!
