hi guys, bought circuit board on ebay £89.00, fitted this morning, boiler running like new, hope this helps

Hi Alan, my boiler has just developed exact same fault, i have had a look this morning, ruled out the thermistor, ruled out the potentiometer, hot water side is ok, and like paul i am pretty sure PCB, have you cured yours yet

Hi Alan, I’m sorry but I am not offering an answer to your problem. I am just writing to say that I have exactly the same symptoms and am waiting to see if anybody knows what is the cause of this fault, all I can say is that I have changed the CH Thermister (this is the one that clips onto the vertical flow pipe on the right hand side, it has made no difference at all, I am telling you this before you spend 25 quid on a Thermister as this component is often suggested as a possible cause. I have a suspicion that it could be a fault on the control pcb (I am an electronics engineer) as once it is triggered, by the hot water being run for about 20secs, it is ok for a while..But like you, I wait in hope that somebody will have another cure, Regards..Paul
