Mend Indesit DI620 Dishwasher Error

4 beebs on my Indesit?

My indesit di620. When a program is selected it 'beebs' to anounce its starting, runs through the priming pump sequence then beebs 4 times and finishes. When I open the door the two middle lights are constantly on. (lights 2 & 3). Why?

The reason is an electrical connector in the door is not fully seated correctly. There is a largish multi-wired connector leading from the buttons into the big loom. This is quite a snug fit so if in this part of the dishwasher before fitting the cover back on to the door check all the connectors. My one was out by a millimetre on the left hand side and caused the machine to beeb and flash lights at me.
