Mend Switch Light Connected

galaxy brake switch ?

The brake light switch sits above the brake pedal...... i looked there and only saw a cylinder which is connected to the pedal. is this the switch ? if not could anyone tell me where the actual switch is ?? and how to take it out to check or replace, and if the cylinder is the switch how do i get it out ? thanks

the switch is on the pedal itself with a multiplug connector on it! its actually a vw switch and its cheaper from them, DONT fit aftermarket switch there crap. it HAS to be fitted in a special certain way im not gonna tell you how in case you blame me if you get it wrong, as you only get 1 go at it and if you get it wrong you need to buy another 1 this will take the dealer less than 5 mins to do ask nicely see what happens
