my corsa was driving fine when suddenly the tempeture gauge went to max and started smoking i checked the water and it was bone dry ans well as the oil now the car wont start HELP PLEASE
i got the car running agin so got a mechanic to take a look at it and its the head gasket what has gone but thank you for the info

Sorry to say but from what you have written it's bad news. It sound like you have seized your engine.
You might be very lucky worth a try fill radiator with water.
Drain off any oil in engine and refill to correct level with fresh oil and see if engine will turn over on starter motor.
If it starts then you need to establish why it overheated
may be
Leak in cooling system
failed hose
failed radiator leaking
Head gasket
