Is it safe or cost effective to leave the shower pull cord on? as my cord has broken I have managed to flick the on off switch inside the unit to stay on!
Thank you for your answer. I do not aim to leave it too long before replacing the pull cord it's just difficult getting an electrition out to do it?

leaving the pullcord on will still give power to the shower.
should any fault happen in the shower ie water leak etc then you still have power to the shower.
long term not advisable.
