Mend Vauxhall Corsa Windscreen Motor

slow wipers on Corsa?

The front Windscreen wipers on my 02 Vauxhall Corsa move very slowly and after they are turned off I can hear a putting/beating sound from the engine side of the windscreen. Do I need a new wiper motor?
