Mend Glow-worm 60e Thermostat Heating Fault

Profile 60e running even when programmer switched off?

Boiler runs even when the programmer has been taken off it's base. Only way to stop it is to turn thermostat down on front of boiler or switch off at mains. PCB ?

sounds like a microswitch on a motorised valve actuator is stuck, that's what sends the power to the boiler, not the programmer. motorised valve could be anywhere, but usually near the pump if you know where that is. very unlikely to be pcb.
