Mend Grundig 6000 RDS EON Code Rds Player

Code for 6000 RDS EON CD Player?

I have an 6000 RDS EON CD player and had repairs on the car where i imagine the battery was disconnected, now the Stereo just says CODE.

I taken off the number panel and there is a tiny number under the clip which looks like 985832. Can anyone help?

I'm going mad without any music in the car !!

Many thanks Bigh, Think I will have to take the radio out as the code 1877 cant be right as the numbers only go upto 6!

Thanks for trying though, much appreciated. Will post a new question once I get the correct serial number.

If that's not the right code, remove the radio from the dash to find the serial number on the radio body. It should be something like M123456. Post that as a new question and somebody will pick up on it and provide the code.

Can't guarantee that it's right but you could try 1877.
I have generated that code on the assumption that the serial number begins with "M". Only try it once just in case.
