how can i fix radio cd 6000 new transit?

my battery became flat so i used a freinds jump leads to try and start my van straight from the battery terminals but had problems and could not start van, sparks and leads becoming hot. Found out later that there are terminals under the bonnet for jump leads. since this has happened i have lost all power to the radio , think i have changed fuse but it does not make a differance is there something else i should be looking for or changing. thank you , hate it with no music or clock, any suggestions
