What's the make & model? empty fuel tank, no spark at spark plug, timing belt/chain snapped. fuel line blocked, wires not re-connected correctly. ECU damaged .timing slipped etc etc etc.....it's a process of elimination really,could be other faults, in any case do one at a time and you'll know what was causing this problem.
