i cant lock my clio 1998?

no its the old fashioned way whats not working wont lock if i put key in the door,its not got a button on my key but im thinking i may have only been giving the spare when i bought the car.

Is it the remote locking which is not working? If so, try fitting a new battey in the fob.

I take it you mean the remote,you should be able to lock it with the key,the old fashioned way,if you mean the remote, change the batteries in it they probably haven't been changed in years,cost about £3.00 from Halfords(may be a pack of 2 for that fob)take the key to an auto shop and they will tell you,dead easy.
