heat exchanger contains black scale what causes this how do i cure it

Halstead Halstead Ace High Heating, Home Heating Systems Heat Exchanger Scale

The black particles are actually corrosion deposits, anti corrosion chemicals (inhibitor) will slow the process down and maybe fitting a magnaclean filter (bought online) on the heating return under the boiler will prevent these particles from entering the boiler.
