renault seni cut out while driving. won,t start up?

car cut out on me when driving, thought it was fuse has it had happened resently. after a tow ,headache and exspence. This time it was different, clicking noise is coming from one of the relays and dashboard engine light ,lights dimly instead of going out compleatly.I really don't think it's the ecu as they thought that last time and were wrong. Maybe need to check other fuses, Can anybody help before this auto mech finds me another ecu for my car.
