Mend Hotpoint Fridgefreezer Not Working

Fridgefreezer (hotpoint) freezer working but fridge not?

Spark came out of little vent inside on back right hand side at the top when i opened the fridge and now the fridge isn't working but the freezer is! What could havwe happened? Do i need a new one?
