Mend Vauxhall Cavalier Locking Fuses

central locking advice?

i have a vauxhall cavalier 1993 and recently the central locking has stopped working. there is still the motor noise present but the system is not working. Any advice? i have checked the fuses and they are all in tact.

go to a scrap dealer and replace the central locking ecu which is located underneath a plastic panel adjacent to the accelerator peddle. I had the same happen on my cav sri. Alternatively you can use a calibra ecu as long the items match. I paid £10 for mine and it worked perfect straight away
