My samsung tv makes humming nose few secs then turns of 20 secs back on some days does constantly like . Last few days then days only half the day it does it other days nothing at all. The remote no where near me turns off by its self ease help.

Could be an open Circuit! Low costs if a technician re sauders it.

My Sanyo tv started that tonight also it clicks on then hums for about thirty seconds and then shuts back off

Try unpluggin it for like 15 min - 30 min, then plug it back in and see if it will turn on. This I was told will reset the coputer inside.

Televisions usually have over-voltage and over-current protection circuits, which will shut the set down in the event of a fault. You need to call out an engineer.
