Temperature gauge on My 2003 ( K12 ) Nissan Micra stays blue?
The temperature gauge on my Nissan Micra ( K12 ) ( New Shape ) stays blue no matter how long I drive for. The heater is also not pumping out much heat. Have just flushed cooling system and replaced coolant. Would the thermostat be the next port of call to replace??? Any help and sound advice would be appreciated
It is definately your thermostat. I have just replaced one on a K12 series Micra.

it seems no one has a clue on these forum sites when it comes to heater blower problems on the new shape micra! from what i can tell (from hours searching the internet trying to find help replacing the resistor on my k12 micras blower) any problems with the blower/heater on the new micras is job best left for a mechanic. Its annoying cause gaining access to blower units on ANY other car isnt that hard! in the k12 its a huge ordeal! great designing nissan!
