the brushes on my vax upright vacuum cleaner don't go round how do i fix th?

my vax upright vacuum cleaner has stopped picking up properly , the brushes have stopped turning but i still have suction, any solutions?

ive checked both belts and there ok but the brushes still wont go round

The Vax uprights generally have 2 x belts The thinner of the two drives the brush, these thinner belts tend to stretch or break. Check and replace belt, but you will have to remove the wide belt in order to refit it.
