Transit 2.5 mis-fireing 1999 model?

Hi chris, its not the brakes, its only has 126000 miles which lets face facts is nothing for a transit, i think it is the injectorsas it has no power and misfiring, it has been looked after as i have the history from it beening a hire van to a builder who got the book stamped, so i think i will get the injectors out and checked.

Is it mis-firing or not pulling well at any speed? if its the latter i would check to see that the brakes weren't binding. Could be any number of things like injector problems or low compression, especially if its very high mileage and/or poorly maintained. Good luck as it should serve you well once sorted.
