Mend Renault Clio Start Car Replaced

How do i fix my renault clio imobiliser?

I have a 2001 renault clio. the imobiliser light wont go off when i try start the car and it keeps misfiring and wont start. Ive replaced the starter motor, ive changed the spark plugs and the battery and still it wont turn over and start. Any ideas??

Unforunately i had the same problem with my imobiliser not turning off and therefore couldnt start the car. it turned out to be the keys that wouldnt work; which may seem like a little job- but oh know not with the clio (i have had rather alot of outgoings with it!!). i took my car to renault wolverhampton after turning the key loads of times and hoping i wouldnt stall it and not be able to start it on my journey there. they then charged me £175 for two new keys!!! but at least i can start the car. good luck
